In the first thrilling instalment of a new series for the epic fantasy game Descent: Journeys in the Dark, legendary heroes face off against the undead and dark sorcery.

When the Baroness of Forthyn's daughter vanishes, she turns to the renowned orc hero Durik for help. Durik gathers his old comrades—the dwarf alchemist Ulma Grimstone and the roguish Logan Lashley—in a bid to relive their glory days. Their journey takes them to the terror-stricken town of Fallowhearth, where instead of finding clues, they uncover necromancy: graveyards emptied of corpses, with trails leading into the ominous Blind Muir Forest.

Within the forest, they face not only the walking dead but also betrayal, a former sorcerous ally turned dark, and a surprising infestation of giant, murderous monsters!
